The college football coaching carousel is crankin' away.

Mark Dantonio, Gene Chizik and Brian Kelly all seem to be good hires by their respective schools.

Dennis Erickson bolts after his first year at Idaho to take the Arizona State job. So much for loyalty.

Alabama can't find a taker. What's happening down there in Alabama?

Miami barely finds a replacement for Coker. But they promote from within despite having dismissed former coach Larry Coker for losing control of the program. Things that make you go, "hmmmmmmmm".

The biggest winners so far appear to be Rutgers, West Virginia and Wake Forest. At least they were able to keep their coaches in place and fend off the bigger programs when they came calling. Nice to see that type of loyalty these days. (But I keep thinking that I don't know the whole story behind each of these decisions. Call me a skeptic.)
